Edge Sharpener PRO2 - Professional electric sharpener for coaches, ski technicians, athletes. Building on the success of its previous ES1 and PRO versions, we have developed a machine with very high performance while maintaining a compact body. The PRO2 integrates quick and easy adjustment of angle, pressure, and speed. The integrated vacuum system allows for clean operation, and the balanced 100mm grinding wheels ensure optimal results.

Born for coaches...


Like all Cima Research machines, this project also stemmed from directly listening to coaches' needs. From those requests, we developed an advanced solution that, over time, has become a benchmark not only for coaches but also for skimen, athletes, and professional workshops.

  • Powerful 200W DC Motor

    The propulsion of the PRO is designed according to a simple but extremely effective principle: the brushed motor with an 8 mm shaft transmits motion directly to the grinding wheel, without intermediate components.

    No belts, no gears, no superfluous mechanical systems.

    An essential technical solution that reduces the number of wear-prone components and ensures greater reliability, less maintenance, and a lower risk of machine downtime.

  • Machine Adjustments

    The PRO2 offers all the adjustments necessary to achieve the highest level of customization and precision.

    The speed adjustment allows you to manage material removal and the desired finish, while the pressure adjustment enables precise definition of the blade's "tooth" level. To complete the setup, the angle adjustment allows you to adapt the preparation to any snow condition.

    In addition to these parameters, there is the possibility to choose different grinding wheel grits, thus obtaining an extremely wide range of operations and final results.

  • Integrated Suction

    Forget external vacuums, bins, and additional extraction systems.

    The PRO integrates a proprietary system directly into the frame, consisting of two high-speed brushless fans, designed to generate a powerful and constant airflow.

    Air is conveyed through the removable suction module, optimizing dust collection directly at the source. The filtration system is developed in three stages: spark protection, felt filter, and HEPA filter, to ensure maximum efficiency and cleanliness during use.

  • High quality linear guides

    The linear guides, mounted vertically, ensure smooth movement and offer optimal support to the motor.
